Bright Eyes W/ Covershoot Cosmetics

Colourful Eye Look
Smokey eye look
Covershoot cosmetics are a new brand available in Poundland and considering they are available in Poundland I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these products! The first thing I dived for was my Neon Palette, the colours seriously pop in the palette and I was really intrigued to see if this transferred onto the skin. I found this palette buildable, if you want a more pastel look with these colours that is super achievable as you can see from my photo but you can build the intensity up a lot with these. The pigmentation is honestly brilliant and I can see this getting used a lot at university for some crazy freshers parties!

The Smokey Kit was next on my list, of course eyeshadow is my favourite makeup product but I very rarely touch the darker shades so decided to go with a silver eye, I didn't find the pigmentation in this palette AS good as the Neon Palette but it's definitely amazing for £1! I found both palettes very easy to blend, highly pigmented and the packaging is also sturdy and lightweight. Those crap sponge applicators for eye shadow does come in the darker palette but I threw this away straight away because I hate them, I think I will stick to my Spectrum brushes!
Contour Look

The next product I tested was the Contour palette, with a highlight, contour and bronze cream shade I was intrigued. I’ve never used a cream contour kit but I have found the Contour shade is a bit too dark for me so stick with the Bronze shade. This is used in all the usual places and I find it really easy to blend into the skin the only thing is I can’t use the darker shade and I find the highlight shade makes my foundation/skin look super patchy so can’t use this which is a shame! I could say the same for the Eyebrow kit, this handy little kit comes with tweezers and a brush which was a lovely touch for the palette as not a lot of brands include these in kits but the shades are too dark for my brows. I usually use blonde colours, strange I know but if I use a super dark colour on my brows I hate the look of them and even the lightest shade in this palette is quite dark so I would love to see Covershoot release some lighter palettes!
Covershoot cosmetics products
The last product is the nail varnish remover which is perfectly fine and does the job! For £1 you can’t really go wrong! Overall I am really impressed with the products released so far from Covershoot I can’t wait to see the range expand! My favourites have to be the contour kit and my Neon Palette! I can see myself getting a lot of use out of these two products!
