The High End Facemask Worth The £££

If I had to choose a beauty essential to take to a desert island with me, I would pick a face mask. The sea air and sand would dry out my skin like crazy so having a good face mask on hand would be perfect. Deborah Mitchell were kind enough to send me their WillowBee Mask and Cleansea more high end mask retailing at £55 for a 50ml pot. I know, this is steep for a face mask but I can hand on heart tell you £55 is worth it. The features of this face mask are ridiculous with a list as long as my arm:

  • Helps take redness away from rosacea
  • Removes impurities
  • Increases circulation by carrying oxygen to your skin
  • Increases elasticity and firmness
  • Smooth’s out fine lines and wrinkles
  • Accelerates cell renewal
  • Moisturising and anti-ageing with healing properties
  • Removes impurities without drying.
  • Evens colour tone
  • Shuts open pores
  • Clears blackheads
  • Refines skin
  • Anti-ageing
  • Cleanses & firms
  • Relaxes lines like botulinum toxin

When I read this list my jaw dropped, I didn't quite believe this mask did all of this but from what I have seen after two weeks of using this three - four times a week (Deborah Mitchell recommended using one - four time a week) I can say I have seen a real difference in my skin.  I don't suffer with rosacea (severe redness of the skin) but I do suffer with redness around my cheeks, chin and nose and after using this my skin tone has dramatically evened out and the redness is practically gone. It also leaves my skin feeling super soft and moisturized, combined with my regular moisturizing my skin is really soft!

As I'm only 21 I can't say I have many fine lines or wrinkles, I did notice very small lines on my head and under my eye, both have reduced dramatically especially on my head. The lines under my eyes are still there but I have seen a difference over the last two weeks. Another thing on the list was 'Clears blackheads' which I didn't find it did better than a nose strip but it did help shut open pores around my nose and cheeks. This mask is honestly one of the best I have ever tried, the high end price is worth it for how much it does for my skin (just for context I have combination skin) and Deborah Mitchell have really hit the nail on the head. I don't think I can actually convey how much I love this mask, I wish I had taken before and after photos but I didn't think I would need them! With Rose and Lavender being essential oils in the mask and Shea Butter and Carrot Oil being the base it also smells lovely and fresh on the skin so it's a win win situation!
