Is To Love Another Person Acceptable?

eat drink and be married sign on tree
I'm sat writing this listening to Bec Sandridge - Stones. A beautiful song which I can't get out of my head. It takes me to such a happy place, filled with love and happiness. Which leads me to today's post, we as humans are born and we are not taught love. We do not go to school and learn how to love a person, their eyes, lips, the way they speak or hold you. We do not learn how to love our parents, sisters, cousins or friends we simply love them. Be that their personalities, how they comfort you when you're grieving or make you fall to the floor in fits of laughter.

Equal Marriage is a very difficult subject to cover. With religion and ideas all over the world there will always be somebody somewhere in this world who won't agree with what you have to say, but let me ask you forget religion for a second. Forget that one day we will be gone and this world will be obliterated into a million tiny pieces, forget what you have heard about equal marriage and the love between two women or men. Think as if this is a new subject. Love is beyond an amazing thing to experience in life, love can make you feel wanted and whole. Falling in love is an experience you want to relive every single day, the moment you meet a person for the first time and fall in love with their eyes, lips, the way they hold themselves, how they edge closer and closer to you until they're close enough hold your hand. That first kiss, when the world stops for that split second and you feel as if your heart is going at around 100 miles an hour and your stomach is jam packed with the feeling of butterflies. It is a feeling one can not quite relive. So why is this shunned upon by so many?

I love my first love, a first love is not easy to forget. They consume your thoughts, feelings and life and make you feel inseparable. Everything I referred to above is how I felt, I was overcome with such happiness that noone could dampen that. Is this such an awful thing, to love? When I say it was a woman will this make you question your answer, will this make you remember religion and various passages in the bible

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, norsodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NKJV)

Love is a truly unbelievable feeling to experience that I don't quite think anybody could ever explain fully. If that person does not lay a violent finger on the other, treats with respect and care, stays faithful and truthful where does the issue lie on same sex marriage? Forget religion, forget everything for one second. For a human being to experience such love, regardless of gender is this such a problem?
