Hello Everybody! As you may have seen on my Twitter last week I got whisked away to Signature Living for the night by Mell, we originally booked for the Stanley Street hotel but ended up in the 30 James Street hotel which we were even more happy about as it is just stunning. We walked in and the reception is so big, I felt like I was on the Titanic for a moment, it is decked out with old style books, typewriters etc and really gives the Titanic feel. On arrival we where checked in by a lovely lady and we booked the spa and breakfast for an extra £40 for both of us! As it was a Wednesday it wasn't mad busy so instantly we felt so relaxed.

After a small wait we got to our room and literally I was in heaven. We had two double beds one fitted with a leather wall behind which had lights fitted around and the other a large black headboard. The biggest wardrobe I have ever seen and we even had out own kitchen. The room had wifi, TV with Netflix, Spotify, Youtube you name it if you had an account you could log on! Then we get to the best part of the room the bathroom, we had a huge Jacuzzi bath for two and enough towels for Liverpool which came in handy for the spa let me tell you! We couldn't fault the room it was amazing.

Then at 5pm it was time for the spa, I will say it was a bit of a nightmare to find we got told it was downstairs so went the bottom floor but there are no signs to tell you where to go so we had to ask a passing chef! Once we found it though we realised why it was so hidden, it is literally in the basement and is just so peaceful you couldn't hear a peep from upstairs! The pool was very shallow so nothing you could go for a swim in really but I don't mind I wanted to sit and relax, we also had the sauna room which was just as nice. It was so quiet we could only hear our selves laughing like the big kids we are or the staff. I can only fault that it was quite cold down their, you get robes and slippers which I found amazing but I would have thought the heating would have been popped a bit higher! The spa had it's own bar which you could buy drinks from and there were individual rooms for spa treatments, to get changed was like a maze of rooms and I honestly think they couldn't have gotten the Titanic theme more spot on downstairs!

Following on from the spa we went out for dinner had a few drinks and came home and slept in our amazing beds, they where so comfortable I didn't want to leave! In the morning we went to breakfast which was the top of the hotel, we got a cooked breakfast and there where also pastries, fruit, toast to help yourself to. This was the only major disaster really of the whole time we were there! Our breakfast came practically with nothing on the plate and it wasn't that nice, the greeting into the restaurant wasn't the best they all just kind of stare at you as if they wonder why your there and we then realised why our breakfast wasn't that good because the couple next to us got ours and we got theirs! The couple next to us asked for all sorts off of theirs and we never, considering the restaurant was practically empty at this point I don't think I would even consider going when it was busy!

We floor we stayed on was completely leather which was just crazy! It was like a giant maze of dark rooms and I loved it! Every floor isn't like this and the higher you go up the brighter it gets, basement rooms are cabins! This really gives the hotel the Titanic theme!

Over all our stay was amazing, the service was amazing and our room well we couldn't fault it the only thing we didn't 100% like was breakfast and I think I can let that one go! I don't want to bring this post down in anyway but I feel I would be lying if I didn't say that the following day we went back and stayed again and to cut a long story short it was just a disaster and after this stay I wouldn't go back. If you follow me on Twitter you will know (_OliviaCheryl)
I think this is such a shame but I don't want to lie and say this hotel is 5/5 because it's not and since I have heard numerous stories from friends that they have had awful experiences here too. If you like the sound of our first night by all means stay and I will only hope you get the experience we got but if you get what we had the second time round I won't say I told you so!
