OOTD - Family Time!

Hello Everybody! I am really nervous to post this post and I have no idea why! I don't get nervous with any posts I post but this has me a little on edge! It's my first OOTD or 'Fashion' post! I have wanted to do one of these for so long but getting Mell to take any nice pictures has been a nightmare so I always just give up and say Next Time....this week I actually settled and liked the pictures for a change! I am wearing what I call 'House Wife from years ago dress' I have no idea where this is from as my Nan&Grandan got me it for Christmas but I love it! It has a small strap that goes around the back of my waist and a white collar for a pop of brightness as the dress is super dark!
I paired this with my light Blue/Lilac Primark coat which I am obsessed with at the minute! My mum picked this up for me when we went shopping in the sale for £10! It is so warm and soft, I love the long collar especially as this makes it a winter or summer jacket as you can pare it with a scarf in winter without the dreaded buttons going too high and stabbing you in the neck or in the summer as just a light jacket!

You can't see my shoes but I just popped on some Black flats with a gold buckle from Peacocks, simple and flat as I was going to my Sister in Law's to practice her hair for her wedding!
My jewellery I think will only ever include in this post as I never take these off. My Sterling Silver Pandora bracelet I bought myself but over years everyone in my close family have bought me a charm to go on so I am slowly filling it! My ring is a CZ Sterling silver Halo Ring off Mell. I wanted a nice ring that I could wear every day off Mell (obviously not any sort of Engagement ring though!) and fell in love with this! It was £35 now down to £28 so if you like it run to get it now!

I went for something different with my hair and curled it, I never curl it to just go out in the day but I wanted to feel nice I popped the front section of my hair up into a pony out of my face as I knew I was going to be handling a baby and doing hair for a couple of hours and was ready to go! I used my Babyliss curlers which you can see here I will say the curl fell out pretty quickly but I didn't use hair spray so think maybe with some hair spray it will look like a pretty natural wave!

My BarryM Nail Varnish Collection!

BarryM nail varnish and victorias secret bag

Happy Saturday Everybody! I hope you have all started your weekend off well! Today I have another collection for you this time my nail polish collection! I am OBSESSED with doing my nails and although I do give my nails a break it doesn't last long, I just think your hands look a lot nicer with nail polish on, they also make some outfits 100x better! I know if I am going on a night out I will do my nails I just feel so much nicer and I feel like my whole look is complete! I have a range of the BarryM nail polish and literally couldn't praise them all enough! They last with a top and bottom coat at least a week sometimes more if you are careful and for some coming in at £2.99 this is a lot cheaper than some nail polish brands out there. BarryM do a range of polish from Quick Dry, Effects, Glitter etc. Some of which I am still waiting to try! Every time I go to Superdrug I know I will pick up two or three to add to my collection! I am going to pre warn you now this is a photo heavy post!

Benefit Cosmetics Agent Zero Shine Review!

Hello Everybody! Luckily this post is not filled with my oily face because I no longer have one! Kind of.....well not with my new Zero Agent Shine! I have always struggled with my oily skin, when I apply my makeup I look oil free but as the day goes on it's like my oily skin washes away any trace of makeup in my T Zone and I am left looking sweaty and not very nice! It has always been an ongoing problem, I have used powder after powder constantly topping it up through the day thinking it'll make all the difference when in actual fact it disappears within an hour! When I saw Benefit advertising there Zero Agent Shine I was intrigued and wondered if this little pot of gold actually worked, at a whopping £23.50 this is definitely on the pricier side for a powder especially when I usually don’t pay over £10 for a powder. What is different with this is the small tube comes with a small applicator brush which is perfect if you are on the go, I can’t say it’s the best brush in the world but it fits in the lid perfectly and really picks up the powder without sucking it in. The idea is you pop the lid off and pour a small amount of powder inside and then put it anywhere on your face you need it before or after makeup! This is put in the Primer section of the Benefit website although you can use this at any stage of your makeup application!

The powder it’s self is translucent and it does feel like once applied you didn't apply it, it isn't heavy on your skin and pretty much is invisible so at first I wasn't too sure this was going to be a good product but boy was I wrong! I used this for the first time on a day out shopping where running was involved with heavy bags so I thought this didn't stand a chance but I was pleasantly surprised when I looked in the mirror when I got home to find I was still almost completely matte! The only shine that came through was on my nose, after nearly a month of using this I still find my nose is the only place shine does come through but I can live with that because it is usually my head that is the worst place! I actually don’t even apply my normal powder on over this as this goes on my Head, Nose, Chin and just around my nose so I don’t need excess powder. I have used Benefit products in the past and was never 100% happy with them and for the price I was hugely disappointed so I was really skeptical about trying this and paying so much for it but I am so glad I did! I literally can’t live without it now! I also love the packaging! As always Benefit you pulled it out the bag with the cute packaging!

LUSH Spa Liverpool The Spell Experience!

Hello Everybody! Warning this is a photo heavy post but I have to say...LUSH Liverpool have done it again, not only have I come home smelling amazing but I now feel amazing! I just want to say LUSH please pass this onto your staff when I say they are amazing not only in the spa but downstairs too, me and my mum got welcomed by a lovely member of staff who offered us tea and coffee and made us feel very welcome despite the shop being so busy (I unfortunately didn't get his name!) and everyone else who we spoke to were just as friendly and welcoming! Even when leaving the shop we had a lovely man chat to us again, I seriously didn't want to leave, can I PLEASE work there!? Haha!

The lovely Gemma and Louise then came down to greet us and bring us upstairs where the treatment would take place, as soon as you shut that door to go up the stairs it is silent, you can't hear any noise or banging from the shop floor and this is the same for upstairs in the treatment rooms. I couldn't believe it when Gemma asked if I had been there before as I went back in 2013 and couldn't believe she remembered me! We sat down in the kitchen, Although the room is one big room it is kind of set apart like a living area and kitchen, wooden tables, chairs and sides very old style bathrooms come to mind but with a more modern take in places, I couldn't get many pictures as I wanted to enjoy myself and relax of course but what I did get you can see what I mean!

W7 Makeup Review

Hello! I finally got my laptop today after nearly 4 days of not having it due to not having my charger and I must say I have missed blogging and speaking to everyone so much! I feel like I have had nothing to do but now I am back and talking about a new brand I have recently found - W7.

W7 sell dupes of high street brands from Benefit and Urban Decay but for such a low price is the quality actually any good? I got the chance to try the 10 Out of 10 Eyeshadow Palette, Absolute Lashes and their Automatic black liquid eye liner. Olivia who works for W7 was lovely when we spoke over email and packaged the makeup incredibly well! The first thing I went to was my eye shadow palette coming in at £5.95. It's safe to say I love my eye shadow and I am a sucker for nudes but with this palette not having too many shimmer shades and quite pale browns I wasn't expecting too much but I was pleasantly surprised! The colours are quite pigmented and go on really easily using my RT brushes. I didn't find any of the shadow below my eyes like some eye shadows do and the staying power lasted all day! I think with a little bit of Eye Shadow Primer this would last longer but I was happy with my results!
